Day tour with Sawtooth Mountain Guides. Variable snow conditions that were dependent on slope aspect. Majority of N and NE facing aspects as well as shaded terrain were softer. All majority south facing aspects were frozen from current warm event. No signs of instability on all aspects. Snow depth 200+ cm on north facing aspect unable to appreciate New Year’s weak layer on hand pit test.
