Quick report
I had the intention of trying to get to the crown of the first bowl natural avalanche, but did not feel I could gain access safely. I continued to be weary of traveling in terrain greater than 30 degrees, and decided to ski through the thick trees in the First Bowl egress to give other steep north facing slopes a wide margin.

Scattered becoming broken skies with temperatures in the mid 20's. Calm to Light and Variable winds.
Snowpack
Pit dug on a North Aspect at 8200'. Total Snowpack Height was 103 cm/40 in. My ski pen was 10 cm, and my boot pen 80 cm! 60 cms of the upper snowpack was made up of snow since January 4th. There was a thin density change 35 cm from the surface that produced an ECTP 14. An ECTP 25 was also a significant result 85 cm down from the surface. In a compression test, the column failed on the 12th tap at the ground within the basal facets (CT12SC). The snow grains at the 1/4 interface are rounding.
