Quick report
Snowpack in the Elkhorns in and around Sumpter has began to set up. The freeze layers with current arctic blast is forming lots of faucets for future storms but overall no signs of unstable snow conditions. We traveled mostly on groomed trails and road a lot a of trees as you could find some soft snow in the trees but away from them. Overall southern blue mountains is in need of another storm or just more snow.
