"Two human-triggered avalanches on Northern aspects. Extremely sensitive weak layer with significant propagation. This is an extremely sensitive weak layer for Western Montana. Use extreme caution regardless of the lack of obvious red flags."
• Signs of Instability: We experienced no collapsing or cracking on the approach and saw signs of recent natural activity only below large cornices.
• Aspect Sensitivity: The risk increased significantly with the change in aspect (Northern).
