Quick report
Reported via text and compiled by forecaster: "some avalanches looked fairly fresh with sharp crowns." One slide hit Hurricane creek, so full path. As with the theme of the week, timing of these is unknown, but some likely failed last Sunday while others may have failed with the recent warming. I added highlights above crowns.
A common theme of these natural slab avalanches is releasing in steep, unsupported terrain, often with a cliff below the top panel of the start zone.
