Quick report
Ski conditions were very mixed. Good skiable snow still holding in upper north faces above 6000'. Very crusty and difficult to ski mixed aspects and brush on lower 8302 terrain on E-S-W faces. Still soft in protected non sun-affected areas. None observed

Beautiful weather: Clear skies, colder in valleys with well-developed surface hoar feathers in protected areas, no recent precipitation, calm winds, temps warmer as you gain elevation were just above freezing in the sun @ 7500'.
Snowpack
Dug in area with common wind, but not this day. HS was 200cm. Dug ~100 cm down. Was all consolidated as one big slab, except top 15 cm, which appears to be older lighter snow that is slightly faceting (NSF: F-4F hardness). See pit profile in wind-effected NW slope @ ~7500'
