Quick report

We observed what a crown from what appeared to be a natural slide on the lower portion of grouse rock. From a distance the crown looked to be around 10 inches and slide on a steep unsupported slope. I skied the same slope on 2/5 and observed lots of loose facets close to where it slide. The size of the crown seemed in line with the amount of new snow at that elevation at 1:00 pm today. We observed more snow up higher and 3-6 inches of denser snow on top of less dense new snow. Stepping above the skin track yielded limited cracks up to 2 feet long
