Low angle day but still saw the snowpack collapsing and at higher elevation near tree line…saw shooting cracks above 8.5k feet. We traveled in about 1-2.5 ft of fresh snow at times. On the areas near tree line, heavy winds were coming from the East and depositing snow. We did not witness any slides or see any recent slides.
