Quick report
Yesterday's pow is today's funk and breakable crust turning to mush low. At 7000': Measured 20" new snow, 2x 10" layers separated of 4f separated by 1f interface. Old snow below was wet, not frozen. Around 7500' at shadiest aspects we found our first dry snow surface. Clouds moved in and out all day, generally poor vis at CD saddle but we managed to ski down in a good window. Skiing ok, better where surface crust had broken down but snow wasn't mushy or sticky (good 9-6.6k). Smooth overall and pollen has been neutralized for now In coming days, expect widespread shedding via wet loose and potentially wet loose or cornice fall.
