Quick report

We got to base camp on the 14th and attempted to summit the next day. There were some scary looking cornices on the climb, but they all seemed stable enough. Being on a north facing slope, we were initially worried about the persistent slab, but it seemed to be buried too deep to be of major concern. There was aprenent wind loading on some sections, but we didn't observe any instabilities. We made it up onto the summit ridge, but it was too icy and rocky for us to climb safely. It had snowed a few inches overnight, so on wind drifted sections, the fresh snow slid while skiing. However, it didn't slide very bad and posed no issue other than making skinning harder.
