Quick report
With poor travel and dangerous avalanche conditions, I took advantage of the low-angle ski area slopes at Summit West to get a view of the surrounding terrain in hopes of cataloging some of the cycle from the AR. I also drove out to Hyak for a better view of Rampart and Alta. While the wet slab cycle wasn't overly widespread in the terrain I was able to see, there were multiple large crowns and plenty of wet loose activity, in addition to the many glide cracks I observed on the drive, and things may not be done yet. Rain runnels were widespread at all elevations. It's worth nothing that I only had good visibility to one north-facing piece of avalanche terrain, (Silver) and it had a very large wet slab crown in it, leaving me a strong desire to see into more northerly slopes! I'm sure we will get a better picture in the next few days!

It felt like summer! Just a bit of cloud at pass level, but bright sunshine on the slopes. Calm to light winds and downright hot!

Observed other smaller wet slab crowns, and numerous wet loose slides, mostly small, but some up to D2. On the drive I noted many glide cracks and a significant crown on Granite South, as well as a crown on the southeast side of Catherine. Great pictures of the Granite slide were submitted with an observation on 3/25 titled "Silver Mountain".
