Cracking
specific

Wind loading and slabs evident on ridge of lichtenberg summit. Slab cracking underfoot on final approach to summit. Slab about 1-2 Inches Thick. very specific to Ridgeline, as 50ft below in ridge in east side snow is very powdery and rides well. Cornices at ridge of lichtenberg facing east, and wind slab formation on west aspect of ridge. Reactive but contained to skin track

Very cold. Clear from 9-11, then overcast, then snow rolling in from west at 1pm, with visibility deteriorating above treeline

Snowpack

Loose, powdery snow under trees and below ridges. Softer, heavier snow below 4000ft. Very nice powder away from ridges. West aspects of ridges have significant wind loading, finely ground snow and dense slabs
