Quick report
I toured up the Angora Creek drainage before sweeping skiers right and up towards Angora peak. Despite the recent snowfall, there was not nearly enough coverage to ski down the SE side of the ridge or tour up on the west side of the creek. There was a thin 1-2cm MF crust at lower elevations that disappeared around 7000ft. Snow was falling at about 2cm/hour and by the time I skied down my skin track was nearly gone. Temperatures were near freezing and the new snow was wet and heavy, but the skiing was good under angora peak. The snow came out briefly. I stayed <30 degrees and experienced no cracking, collapsing, or whumpfing, but started skiing down at about 8000ft due to heavy snowfall and windy conditions. By the time I returned back to my car, the weather had cleared up and I could see Angora Peak at a distance. I was moving from roughly 7am-10:30am.
