Toured up Jennifer to Rose Knob Peak summit. Lower elevation snow had a some solar crust and melt from trees on it. All but the most sheltered terrain (N Trees of Jennifer) was scoured or buffed by the wind. The wind was coming from the NE and quite strong. Wind along Allison Ridge was causing extreme amounts of wind transport over the cornices/ridge and had to be leaned into to not fall over. Most of the Rose Knob Peak/Jennifer gully had been wind affected and small test slopes over rocks and buried trees produce cracking and small wind slab failures. The more sheltered (from the NE winds) aspects (W/SW) skied well and had been loaded with transported new snow without any wind effect. We did not find any instabilities on these above tree line W/SW aspects.
