Quick report
Very warm. 36f at the meadow trailhead at 0620. Snow was consolidated generally with trouble pockets from the wind. With the warm weather point releases are possible. I dug a pit just off the to the east of the hour glass maybe 50 feet from the summit. HS was 80 to 110cm with 1F from top to bottom. CT30, no instability found. With a shear test a release occurred at insertion of my shovel at 10cm and with medium force the rest of the snow pack released from the ground. Overall very stable on the N to NW face of tamarack peak.

Warm overcast and windy. With very wet precipitation until about 0900 when it just became misty.
Snowpack
Snow pack on north faces was 70-120cm. South face was 50-80cm. Snow was very wet with the mist of the day and was classic Sierra cement by 1100. The warm temperatures were resulting in pinwheels and it seemed possible for a wet loose avalanche.
Avalanche
Wind slab avalanche from Thursday/Friday. The same the forecaster noted in their observation.
