Crusty Kitchener

We went up Kitchener today and found absolutely terrible skiing, mainly refrozen loose wet debris and crust that was hard to get an edge into. But, we did enjoy the rime forest and the howling of the storm as it revved up this afternoon. If you’re thinking about crafting weekend travel plans, remember that any new snow we get may take some time to bond to the slippery crust that’s currently in place. Don’t forget your ski crampons!
