Lookout Col

We went up Illecillewaet Glacier to Lookout Col. Conditions for stormy and foggy. Limited visibility. No wind on the uphill but W winds at the Col. Our plan was to go down the backside towards Ravens but changed out plans when we witnessed a size 2.5 storm slab avalanche for the lookers left top of Lookout Peak. We skied down where we came up.

Witnessed a 2.5 storm slab avalanche coming down Lookout Peak down the bowl. It seemed to run all the way to the flats.

Very stormy day with visibility. A lot more accumulation above 1700m.
