Unsupportive Crust

We went for a walk to Mt Beattie and found 1-2 cm of breakable crust from approximately 1700m to the top ,(~ 2000m). Good to be out, but survival ski skills and carefullness needed to go down; we mostly used the skin track. Now we will pray for snow.
