Toured up Harvey Pass today for our AST 2 course. Still found some decent turns between windslabs and sled tracks up there. On the drive up the Lodgepole road we saw a few size 1-2 recent avalanches that looked to be around 1600m at treeline. The crowns were about 20-30cm deep on a north east facing slope. Once we started touring up we noticed one suspected windslab on a north aspect at about 2100m as well. Our group did not feel any whumpfs but another group in the area felt one at around 1750m. Digging a test pit at 1870m on a north east facing slope we found large surface hoar down 60cm (see photo).
