5 Mile ski

Nice ski in Acidophilus and the burn. Lots of wind affect from unexpectedly strong and inconsistent winds this morning and likely last night. On the skin up Acidophilus we noticed this small 0.5 slab under the ridge (death traverse zone). Best guess is 20-30cm deep, 20m wide, and running around 10-15m. Seems to be skier triggered, we thought we could see some tracks heading in there. That zone probably got heavily cross-loaded, so likely wind slab. Otherwise no signs of instability where we were skiing.
