Amadeus - climb

Went out this am to check out condition of 'Amadeus'. Of note regarding approach - LOTS of snow. Both lower down on approach but lots of mid thigh deep pockets once you hit midway and windslab to be aware of towards top of drainage. Of note re. Route - Upper ice looks good but right now lower ice is very thin, delicate and barely (read mostly not) touching the ledge and will benefit from more time to form up. Given it's early season there is no ice on the ledge to help in traversing and topping out the 1st pitch mixed pitch right now either.
