Wawa Ridge

Wawa ridge on Sunday. Overall good snow. Coverage is improving compared to beginning of the season but hazards are still present. Snow depth varied from 12-50+ centimetres in some places. The integrity of the base + incoming storm + winds encouraged us to be conservative with our lines. The top of the ridge was windy with poor visibility but relatively good coverage allowed easy mobility. Ridge showed some signs of wind displaced snow which could become a potential avalanche hazard with more snow, especially on the SW facets . Some whoomphing on the walk up. Encountered 2 other groups along the way.
