Good skiing in sheltered terrain.
Good to get back to this zone after over 20 years ! Skiing steep east and south east aspects, and skinning in complex terrain. Variable wind effect from past west to north west winds. Good skiing in sheltered terrain with a few cm new over previous settling storm snow. Minor skier triggered surface sluffing in steep terrain. Lots of faceting in upper 30-40 cm. Prominent rime crust found down 40 cm but not reactive to hand shears. A few pockets of windslab 10-15 cm triggered by sledders. Strong dense mid and lower pack.
