The title might say it all. Actually got a faceshot in White Pass! The ~5 cm of fresh dry snow in the last 24 hours came in without wind. Storm snow from last weekend has settled and was remarkably unaffected by wind in Fraser Chutes. At and above treeline, there was some wind affected snow, particularly on south to southwest aspects. Thin in spots and rock sharks above treeline. Ski pen 10 to 15 cm. Boot pen 30cm to 100cm. Light wind from the north all day. Minus 12 temp. The creek on the ski out of the chute is still pretty open. Parking lot was busy. It and skiing felt like Rogers Pass!
