Bow Lake / Bow Summit Area Ski Conditions

Mountain Conditions Report

<p>I guided today in the Bow Lake / Bow Summit area. Great ski conditions with 10-15 cm recent storm snow. No cracking or whumpfing on the moderate angle, well supported slopes that we skied. We avoided areas with overhead hazard. </p> <p>Light westerly winds, some nice sunny breaks, and cool temps around -10 all day. </p> <p>No recent natural or skier triggered avalanche activity noted. The snowpack is weak, but was fairly supportive for uptracking and turns. Snowpack depth ranged from 1m to 1.5m.
