Engadine Burn

<p>Variable surfaces going through the south-facing burn, ranging from soft to breakable crust (~2-5cm thick) to wind-affected. Difficult trail breaking with ski pen ranging from 20-50cm and punching through the surface crust, which was present starting around 2200m. Foot pen up to 70cm. Heard whumphing from 2250-2300m and didn't go any higher. Coverage is still pretty thin with snow depths around 90cm. Saw debris from previous avalanches in the south facing gully next to the burn, as well as across the valley. Uncertain as to how old they are.</p>
