Warm and windy in Corbin We went looking for dry snow in Corbin and instead found that the recent new snow was heavy and moist. It's sitting on a crust from mid March but the crust wasn't as thick or strong as we had anticipated, it'll probably break down quickly if there is a calm period with full sun. HS at 2150 m was 180 cm with about 30 cm of moist snow on the crust and then 5 cm of facets below that propagated in our extended column test. The snowpack was moist all the way to the ground too. We'll be watching the crust closely this week as the temperatures continue to rise!
