Observation Peak, North-East Glacier

<p>Decent to great conditions on Observation Peak (north-east glacier) and adjacent alpine slopes between Observation and Cirque Peak north glacier. Wind affected but still better than Netflix! No signs of recent slab avalanches, however the steep convex roll above the Observation glacier (~ 2900 m, NE aspect, wind loaded) looks like it went at about size 2 based on debris in the bowl below (crown was filled in with drift). Exiting the Observation-Cirque drainage, we found crust below 2500 m and crusty porridge below about 2300 m (treeline). Fast crust below tree line where sheltered from sun. </p>
