Flatiron Bowls

We skied the bowls and trees to the east of Flatiron today. Conditions were mixed, not too crusty but that could change soon if the temperature drops. About 30-40 cms of new sitting on an older crust. Lots of wind transport. Quite heavy, though, since it was kind of warm, being only a few degrees below zero. Very stable, we dropped a couple of cornices that generated no reaction. Ski cuts produced nothing. A couple of small natural slides triggered by loaded snow from above were all we saw.
