No red flags that I observed today.

Only noticed this wet loose slide on a northeast facing slope at 10,000'. It looks like it started from melting snow up in the rocks and entrained some wet loose surface snow as it moved downhill.

It took nearly thirty hard hits on the shovel to get this column to fail on the old persistent weal layer. Kind of feels like this layer is getting less of an issue as it has been through the back and forth cycle of melt freeze weather.

Snowpack

The snow conditions this morning were already soft and damp at 9:00am on the sunny aspects. A pretty stout melt freeze crust on the shady slopes that did not soften while I was out.
