Loading and reactive hard storm slabs

Again today, more wind loading on north faces. Slabs are reactive and varied in tickness. We came across recent hard slabs of 40cm deep in alpine terrain with long run outs and got a skier-triggered hard slab avalanche on us (size 1.5), but moved away from it and made it out safely. We moved to south facing runs instead where we found good snow and safer ground. Play safe.
