Jubilee Bowl

Skiing up was crusty until actually in Jubilee Bowl, then compact powder on N aspects. Ridge top was wind affected and hard, decent sized cornice to the west of the repeater tower. HS 280 cm on ridge top

Snow conditions were: Crusty, Wind affected, Powder. Weather conditions were: Warm, Sunny. We rode: Mellow slopes, Steep slopes. We avoided: Alpine slopes. Riding quality was ok.

Avalache Conditions: Rapid temperature rise to near zero degrees or wet surface snow.


HS 200, HST 10, Quick pit down 95 cm. Density: smooth increase 4f to 1f from 0 to 95 cm. Crust layer at 30 cm. CTN
