Groovy day up Parsons. Smooth sailing up loop brook and the elephant's trunk through to the moraines. About 30cm of new low density snow on the Parsons face allowed us to skin 1/3 of the way up before switching to bootpacking. Great snow quality down to the bottom of the greens glacier. Caution with what's left hanging going down the brook (mainly the first 2 west facing paths)
Snow conditions were: Powder. Weather conditions were: Cloudy, Warm. We rode: Alpine slopes, Mellow slopes, Steep slopes. We avoided: Sunny slopes. Riding quality was amazing.
