Emerald lake slide path

-3 at the car around 10am, got one settlement in some wind loaded drifts around 2000m on steep terrain skinning up to gain the shoulder from the Hamilton lake trail. Winds were not as present at tree line as I was expecting but with limited vis decided against yesterdays choice of line due to the level of exposure form the slide path. We stayed clear of the path today till the very bottem of the terrain trap gully where we skied down and passed 2 people headed down quite slowly through the terrain trap. On our way down the shoulder we found good skiing staying skiers right before we traverse out and made our way towards the path to avoid the lower Bush. the lower gully is getting more skied out now. The winds last night definitely redistributed snow on the south side of the shoulder in odd patterns. (where we experienced out settlement) but on the north side of the shoulder the snow felt great and undisturbed. Looking up the avy path the slide path still seems to have not made an attempt to slide. I'd avoid my exposure in the mid to lower terrain of the path and gully in the next storm cycle if u plan on skiing around here this weekend, with the large influx of new people new to back country this year I feel I ussualy wouldn't say this but it is very large terrain. Know what your heading out to explore before you go.
