Playing in the Meadows
Northwest Inland

We spent the day riding in the Seaton Basin area and were pleasantly surprised with the conditions. Visibility was poor so we stuck to the meadows at tree line, going as high as 1530m. Due to visibility, we were unable to see if there were any recent avalanches in the alpine. Snow depth in area averaged 180cm and we found no evidence of crusts in our dig locations (SE and W aspects). We also had no results on either ETC or CT tests. Lower snowpack consists of around 100cm of rounding facets.
