AVCAN FORECASTER , Wednesday 8th January, 2025 4:15PM

Most slopes remain soft with minimal warming or wind effects, except on steep south-facing slopes where a thin, breakable sun crust has formed. Observations suggest a stable snowpack, with no recent avalanches, signs of instability, or concerning layers detected. Snow depths at treeline averaged 130 cm.
