<p>20cm new snow was getting heavier by mid afternoon. saw a couple small cracks and lots of whumpfing when stopping.</p>

Mellow slopes.

Convex slopes, Steep slopes.

Whumpfing or drum-like sounds or shooting cracks.

Rapid temperature rise to near zero degrees or wet surface snow.

Powder, Wind affected.

Cloudy, Warm.
