Sledding in Seagrams. Very warm to about 1400m with mashed potatoes. Some pinwheels and sluffing on solar aspects below 1400m.Above 1400m snow was light and dry with very good stability and powder was holding up really well. Week layer observed about 15cm down but did not get any results on the sled anywhere.
Snow conditions were: Deep powder, Heavy, Powder. Weather conditions were: Sunny, Warm. We rode: Alpine slopes, Mellow slopes, Steep slopes, Sunny slopes. Riding quality was amazing.
Avalache Conditions: Rapid temperature rise to near zero degrees or wet surface snow.
