We found 20-40 cm of storm snow in moderate north facing terrain that was low density and primary sluffing in the morning but as the temperatures warmed up and more precipitation moved in storm slab started to form and become reactive throughout the basin.
Snow conditions were: Crusty, Deep powder, Heavy, Wet. Weather conditions were: Cloudy, Stormy, Sunny, Warm, Windy. We rode: Alpine slopes, Mellow slopes. We avoided: Steep slopes, Sunny slopes. Riding quality was good.
Avalache Conditions: Slab avalanches today or yesterday. 30cm + of new snow, or significant drifitng, or rain in the last 48 hours.
