Observed 10-15cm of light powder on top of a very firm crust at elevations of ~900-1200m. Snow was sloughing on crust but no slabs were observed. The snow skied well but the slippery crust made it difficult to skin up steeper slopes.
Snow conditions were: Crusty, Powder. Weather conditions were: Cold, Sunny. We rode: Dense trees, Open trees. Riding quality was good.
10-15cm of light snow sits on top of a firm and slippery crust. Surface hoar observed in open areas near moisture source.
