We rode the lower portion of the first Corral chute. We changed over about 3/4 of the way up, as there was a wind loaded pocket and obvious transport above. The snow in the chute was light and we observed no whumpfing or cracking. Another group chose to change over and drop in above the wind loaded area and drop from the small cornice there. It broke away and travelled a few metres. Picture 3. No other issues to report.
Snow conditions were: Wind affected, Powder. Weather conditions were: Windy, Warm, Cloudy. We rode: Mellow slopes, Open trees. We avoided: Alpine slopes, Steep slopes, Convex slopes. Riding quality was amazing.
