HS 45cm average, immediate lees held 50-70cm. Rode the open tree shoulder slopes. surface snow was soft and light, boots penetrating 30-40cm and to ground. Unsupportive crusts buried 10cm or so buried by soft new snow, can be found sporadicly on South West slopes. Surface hoar was present BTL (2200m valley bottom) but was not found at the tree line (SW slopes 2300m). Snow surface was heavily wind affect in the alpine and making for bad skiing.
Snow conditions were: Wind affected, Powder. Weather conditions were: Sunny. We rode: Mellow slopes, Dense trees, Sunny slopes, Open trees. Riding quality was good.
Sunny day with little wind, morning temp -12 rising to -4 at departure
