Dogleg and Blacksmith Ridge

Kananaskis

Generally just really, really good skiing. Apparently I need to take Fridays off as dogleg and adjacent paths were very tracked (but still skied very well). Blacksmith ridge steep trees skied extremely well, blower low density snow on top of a very burly crust. No signs of wind since the new snow in this area. Really just posting this MIN to recommend that anyone who skis dogleg or purple knob a lot (we do), go look at the destruction from the Size 3.5 from the big storm. It’s very eye opening in what we have considered a generally pretty safe zone, including zones that we figured were safe for a lunch break.
