Lone pine light

We had a really nice day skiing Lone Pine Light. The uptrack to Tupper Ridge was already set, which made for a fairly casual ascent.
Descending off the ridge was a little spicy at first, with pretty thin coverage and small wind slabs at ridge top. Once we got into the bowl, the snow was soft and creamy. The entrance into Lone Pine Light was a little wind effected but once into the path it skied great. The exit included alder bashing on a breakable crust from about 1600m down.
There was a pretty large deposit at the bottom of the path, which we assumed was from an avalanche on the main path.
It was -13C in the shade when we started, and warmed up quite a bit once we got into the sun. But fortunately not so warm to have any real effect on the snowpack.
Overall, a beautiful day out and a mostly great ski.
