Lots of snow overnight at the gorge. The road was very difficult and slick. It was quite busy (including some industrial traffic, sleds, trucks, jeeps, skis and quads) and it seems like a few people got stuck (we should have listened to K3's very wise and appreciated advice to bring snow chains... but we also enjoyed digging) Snow coverage is starting to get better at 15km. There are still lots of hazard, holes, and open creeks, but already way better than yesterday. I'm guessing 20cm to 25cm of fresh low density/low cohesion snow since yesterday. We saw a few cookies / small soft slab releases within the storm, and some wider ones in steeper open terrain. The day was mostly overcast and foggy, with some clearing and a small bit of sun in the afternoon.
