Cougar Creek East

<p>Decent skiing high up on cougar Creek East. Surface hoar started to appear at 1700m on north aspects and was present the rest of the way up 2000m. Top 5 to 7 cm of snow was extremely reactive - even a pole could trigger a sluff (see pic). Not a big problem today, but will be scary once new snow is on top of this completely unbonded layer. Final 200m of skiing, the surface became less reactive. </p>
