Slab avalanche in Kokanee

<p>Rode SW Montana trees first, snow was great, really happy with the snow, felt solid no crust. Skinned around up Kokanee ridge and rode down off the ride to lower Kokanee bowl in the open trees South facing snow felt solid. Prominent sun crust on that south face in the trees. Then skinned up the far ridge of Kokanee from the cat track, again snow felt great again. Dropped in on the north side into open trees where avalanche occurred. On the way back we noticed 2 crowns on the north face of the ridge into Montana and 1 crown at the bottom of Kokanee bowl </p>
