Pretty cold out there!!
Skied 8812 bowl. Fantastic skiing quality with knee deep powder.
Clear skies. Light to moderate wind with noticeable blowing snow near ridge tops for most of the day.
It was -26 at the parking lot in the morning and -22 at 1130am at 2200m.
We observed some wind slabs in the alpine and at tree line, from size 1 in the alpine and size 0.5 at tree line. Skier accidental over convex roll and thin spots. Crown was 20cm in the alpine (photo 1) and 15cm at tree line (photo 2 and 3).
Also found an older slab of a size 2 at tree line (see last photo)</p>
