Wx Obs:-15C in the morning, warming to -7 when we left around 3:30pm. The day was sunny & wind calm. We saw several sloughs coming down either side of the route as the day warmed up.
The climb hasn't seen much traffic, except for an old V thread there was no evidence of previous climbers on the ice. (There's a decent trail from the road to the gear up area.) We climbed a line R of centre, the only dry line on the route. Grading went at 2/3-5-5. There was a fair bit of shell ice on the less than vertical sections, the steeper ice quality was reasonable, bit of a search to find good pro.
Given the aspect of the route & location, the sun shuts this climb down early in the season.
