Snowline begins at 900m. Probed 60-90 cm at 1800m on the glacier east of Paddy Peak. A warm and at times wet October has produced several rain and temperature crusts; the most prominent is down 60 cm. No signs of avalanche activity or instability. Shallow rocks, open creeks and other early season hazards exist but ski quality was excellent for October!
